Description
- Azotobacter is a nitrogen-fixing bacterium around the roots of crops in soil, fixing atmospheric nitrogen by asymbiotic association.
- Azotobacter live independently around the roots in the soil and make atmospheric nitrogen available to the crop in the form of ammonia.
- These bacteria need a lot of organic matter to survive.
- Nitrogen is fixed very efficiently by bacteria when the soil pH is in between 6.5 to 8.0.
- Azotobacter releases hormones like Gibberellic Acid, vitamins and Indole Acetic Acid into the soil.
- The use of Azotobacter fertilizer saves 10 to 15% application of nitrogen fertilizer. Since Azotobacter are good for the environment and soil health.
- It increases the yield of crops. The use of this fertilizer saves the cost of organic and chemical nitrogenous fertilizers.

Application Method
Slurry Method or Direct Use
Slurry Method:
Take 1 lit. N Freelancer (Azotobacter), 2 kg of jaggery, 2 lit milk in 200 lit water. Keep it for 24 to 72 hrs filter it & then use it for drip.
Direct use:
Take 1 lit./acre use directly through drip or drenching.
